I have a decade of experience in working across design, business, engineering teams to build great products. I was most recently at Product Hunt, where I led design on teams with a UGC and growth focus.

I love to make things, and I love to learn.

While the depth of my experience is in design, product leadership, and strategy, over the years I've dabbled in front and back-end engineering, SEO, content, and more. You'll regularly find me diving into new skills if they help move things faster and more efficiently. In the words of a previous manager:

Besides building startups, I am driven by a range of passions, notably the outdoors, travel, and sustainability.

A few years ago, I got tired of the surface-level coverage of issues in the outdoor industry and started a newsletter that has grown to a significant number of subscribers. I've also worked as a professional photographer for brands and destinations all over the world.

You'll often find me hacking on mini-projects, like Another Puffy Jacket, which started as a tongue-in-cheek gear guide. These Landscapes Aren't Real is an exploration of AI-generated landscape photography and the potential effects on the creative industry.
